Now in Service

People walking to the shuttle are invited to hop on at any of the stops.  If you are arriving by vehicle, we ask  you pick up the shuttle at the White Bear Area YMCA, 2100 Orchard Lane, White Bear Lake, MN 55110 and park at the west end of their parking lot.  It takes approximately 30-35 minutes to ride the full loop.

Please note: This is a research and demonstration project, and the shuttle may not be in operation during all planned hours due to inclement weather, updating of software, or vehicle maintenance. We will post updates on this website and the project’s social media accounts if operations are suspended.

What happens if the shuttle is full?

We are limiting the Bear Tracks shuttle to ten passengers at a time. As a safety precaution for this new technology, all passengers (except for the vehicle operator) need to be seated and belted when the vehicle is moving.

The shuttle might be full when it arrives at your stop. If that’s the case, please wait for the next shuttle to enjoy your ride. Thank you for doing your part to make this test a safe experience for our community.
